*September 2, USS Bonhomme Richard anchored in Sasebo Harbor for offload; Moored at Berth 2/3, Juliet Basin Wharf on Sept. 3.
*From November 9-10, the Bonhomme Richard was underway for a Mid-Cycle Inspection (MCI) assessment with the Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV).
*January 18, 2016 USS Bonhomme Richard departed homeport for an annual Spring Patrol following a two-month Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV); Anchored in Sasebo Harbor for onload from Jan. 18-20.
*USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) conducted an ammunition on load Jan. 20 in preparation for its patrol of the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
*January 31, LHD 6 anchored off White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, for a well deck certification; Moored at Navy Pier for onload from Feb. 1-6.
*February 28, The Bonhomme Richard moored again at Navy Pier, White Beach for a brief port call to conduct offload and to embark the Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7 staff members, following the completion of Amphibious Integration Training (AIT) and Certification Exercise (CERTEX).
*Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7 commanded by Rear Adm. John B. Nowell, is scheduled to conduct a routine port visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) beginning March 3.

*March 8, USS Shiloh(CG 67) recently joined the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) ESG-7, USS Boxer (LHD 4) ARG and the Republic of Korea (ROK) Flotilla 5, off the south coast of Korea, in support of amphibious landing exercise Ssang Yong 2016, off the coast of Pohang, on March 10.
