◆Schedule of Forward-deployment to Yokosuka, Japan
U.S. Navy's commitment to the Asia-Pacific region,
USS Milius(DDG 69) will be forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan.
USS MILIUS(DDG-69/NPLM/*BMD) *2018 (originally scheduled to arrive 2017 summer)
★DDG-69 assignment date to Destroyer Squadron 15 on March 1, 2018.
Aegis destroyer based in San Diego will move to the 7th Fleet next year and be joined by an additional Aegis destroyer from either San Diego or Hawaii.
According to the Pacific Fleet, the USS Milius will be sent to Yokosuka from the San Diego-based 3rd Fleet.
