令和４年度印陸軍との実動訓練（ダルマ・ガーディアン２２）の概要について （2月8日）JGSDF
陸上自衛隊は、自由で開かれたインド太平洋の維持・強化に資するべく、以下のとおり令和４年度印陸軍との実動訓練（ダルマ・ガーディアン２２）を実施します。
１ 目 的
印陸軍との実動訓練を実施して、陸自の対テロに係る戦術技量を向上させるとともに、陸自と印陸軍との更なる連携の強化を図る。
２ 期 間
令和５年２月１７日（金）～３月２日（木）
３ 場 所
饗庭野(あいばの)演習場 等
４ 主要演練項目
対テロ（都市部）に係る各種行動（指揮所活動を含む。）

６ 特 色
(1) 日本国内において初めて実施する印陸軍との実動訓練
(2) 従前の訓練実施部隊（小銃小隊）に各種機能を増強（本部機能の追加、ＥＯＤ（爆発物処理）部隊等の増強）し、訓練内容を充実
７ 新型コロナウイルス・インフルエンザ感染症対策
(1) 防衛省・自衛隊が定める方針に基づき必要な感染症対策を十分に講じて参加
(2) 新型コロナウイルスやインフルエンザウイルスの感染が疑われる隊員が発生した場合は、事前に準備した施設に隔離して検査等を受検させるとともに、濃厚接触者と疑われる隊員を速やかに特定・隔離して感染拡大を防止
(3) 陽性者が発生した場合は、所在地域の保健所の指導等に基づき症状の原因に応じて隔離し、二重感染を防止するとともに、重症化した場合は、速やかに近傍の救急対応病院等に搬送

Bilateral Field Training Exercise “Dharma Guardian 22” with the Indian Army The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) conducts the bilateral field training exercise
“Dharma Guardian 22” with the Indian Army outlined below to contribute to realizing a Free and Open Indo-Pacific:
1. OBJECTIVE
The JGSDF will improve its counterterrorism tactical skills by conducting field training
exercises with the Indian Army and further strengthen cooperation between the Japan Self Defense Force and the Indian Army.
2. PERIOD
February 17 (Fri) to March 2 (Thu), 2023
3. VENUE
Aibano Maneuver Area
4. MAIN TRAINING ITEMS
Counter-Terrorism Exercise (including command post exercise)
5. EXERCISE PARTICIPANTS
(1) JGSDF
A. Training Commander:
Lieutenant General Horii Taizo, Commanding General, Middle Army
B. Training Commanding Officer:
Colonel Mishima Kenji, Commander of the 36th Infantry Regiment
C. Participating Unit:
The 36th Infantry Regiment

6. SIGNIFICANCE
(1) “Dharma Guardian 22” is the first field training exercise conducted with the Indian Army in Japan.
(2) Training items are expanded by adding the various functions (adding a role as headquarters and enhancement of EOD units) to the participating units (rifle platoon) which have taken part in the Dharma Guardian since before.
7. COUNTERMEASURES AGAINST COVID-19 AND INFLUENZA
(1) Those participating in the exercise must take appropriate measures against infectious diseases in accordance with the policies of the Japan Ministry of Defense/Japan Self-Defense Force.
(2) If one is suspected of being infected with COVID-19 and/or INFLUENZA, he/she will be quarantined at a prepared facility and have them take PCR testing. In addition, we identify anyone who have been close contact with the patient and isolate them to prevent further spread of infection.
(3) If the above personnel tests positive for COVID-19 and/or INFLUENZA, we will quarantine the patient based on instructions from the local health center, and if the condition of the patient becomes serious, we will immediately transfer the patient to an emergency hospital nearby
